My name is Marcia Barrow Taylor.  I’m an artist living in the SF Bay Area: a painter and fiber artist with a passion for knitting and calligraphy. Much of my work is process-based, especially slow repetitive gestures. I love working with paper and have recently explored site-specific installations and performance art.  My Orisha (an ancestral sprit) is called Whisperer - she informs my artistic practice and is the subject of my portraits.
